Within the community service initiatives and the provision of humanitarian volunteer work carried out by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, on a regular and continuous basis. The college organized and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, and Dr. Mohsen Sghir, to provide service to orphaned children in the state orphanage by shaving a number of children of both genders. In order to prepare for the children’s celebration of the days of Eid al-Adha. Shari affirmed that this initiative is part of a large campaign to provide service to the community, especially orphaned children, and this matter will be repeated before the days of Eid al-Adha as well.
