The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry has been a cornerstone of the College of Pharmacy since its inception in 1999. It specializes in teaching and researching chemical sciences directly related to the pharmaceutical field. The curriculum focuses on organic, analytical, and diagnostic chemistry, enabling students to understand the synthesis and development of bioactive drug compounds. Our scientific vision involves investigating the precise relationship between chemical structure and biological effect, with a continuous ambition to expand postgraduate programs and establish advanced units for testing and evaluating drug and food quality according to international standards.
