The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah received the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Sheikh Al-Tousi University, Dr. Laftah Fayez Kazem, in a visit aimed at strengthening the bonds of scientific and academic cooperation between the two colleges. The visit included discussions on ways to develop joint cooperation in scientific and research fields, and the exchange of academic expertise, contributing to the advancement of the scientific level and expanding areas of partnership among Iraqi universities.

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Dr. Gibran Khalil Hassan, stated: "We have expressed our full readiness to establish a scientific twinning between the two colleges, out of our commitment to academic openness and enhancing scientific communication with all educational institutions, in a manner that serves the educational and research journey."
