A teacher at the College of Pharmacy participates in a scientific symposium on the vaccine against COVID-19

 Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Jassem, the teaching assistant at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, participated in a scientific symposium held by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Al-Qadisiyah on the scientific facts of the vaccine against the Corona virus, with the participation of researchers and specialists The symposium included lectures by specialists in which they explained the most important scientific facts about taking the vaccine and explained its importance, types and effectiveness of each type.  Those with chronic diseases, allergies and others, and that these vaccines create short-term immunity against the virus until the so-called herd immunity and salvation from the epidemic occurs.  The symposium  emphasized that doctors ask the person who wants the vaccine several questions to ensure that the vaccine is suitable for the person and that the vaccine does not contain any of the substances that harm the person wishing to be vaccinated. The symposium recommended that individuals take the vaccine to gain immunity, even if it is short-term
