A research team at  university of basrah has published a research in an international journal
       Researchers : Dr. Ban Mohammed Saleh Saeed, Dr. Shaker Abdul-Salam Nehmeh from the College of Pharmacy and Dr. Basil Abdulzahra Abbas from College of Veterinary Medicine have published a research entitled (Pharmacological and biological  evaluation of the compound   5,5 ’[(1,4-Phenelene) bis (1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine)]  In a British journal :Journal of Physics: Conference Series 1279(2019)012038,with an impact factor(0.51) and included in index of Scopus classification.
        The published study included synthesis of thiodiazole compound and illustration of biological activity against different types of gram positive and gram negative bacteria .Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC), cytotoxicity and LD 50 were determined and evaluated to find the effective concentrations.
        The aim of this research is to identify the pharmacological properties and biological activities of the locally prepared compound and the possibility to use it as antibacterial agent.
