Basrah - Pharmacy College Media:

Dr. Qutaiba Abdulkarim Qasim Al-Hajjaj, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, has been selected as a member of the Ministerial Committee tasked with preparing learning outcomes for Bachelor of Pharmacy programs across Iraqi universities.

Dr. Al-Hajjaj indicated that the committee completed the initial draft of the program's learning outcomes, which represent the scientific and academic foundation for developing, modernizing, and updating curricula in both public and private pharmacy colleges in Iraq, aligned with international academic standards and program accreditation requirements.

The learning outcomes aim to define the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required of pharmacy graduates, thereby elevating educational quality, unifying academic standards among Iraqi universities, and preparing graduates to meet modern pharmaceutical practice and job market demands.

This achievement forms part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to adopt outcome-based education, contributing to the enhancement of pharmacy college programs, achieving academic accreditation, and elevating pharmaceutical education in Iraq according to global best practices.
