Dr. Rita Sabah Elias, a distinguished faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, officially participated in a specialized scientific training program within Professor Lyudmil's research group at the Institute of Organic Chemistry with Centre of Phytochemistry, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Bulgaria.

The intensive international training involved conducting advanced spectroscopic and theoretical studies on the tautomerism properties of certain Curcuminoids compounds in chemical solutions, in addition to practical training on complex spectral data processing techniques.

Dr. Rita explicitly explained that these specific compounds exhibit broad-spectrum therapeutic efficacy against various types of diseases. Curcuminoids, notably including Curcumin, are highly regarded as potent pharmacological agents holding robust anti-cancer, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial properties.
