Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

The Department of Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, organized the first student festival titled "From Seed to Healing".

Dr. Ola Mohammed Noor Al-Mousawi, Head of the Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants Department and supervisor of the festival, stated: "The festival was organized in direct coordination with the students, with the participation of faculty members and college staff."

Al-Mousawi added: "The goal of the festival is to plant various medicinal plants in the department's gardens, which provide plant sources used in student laboratories and scientific research. It also aims to raise awareness about the importance of medicinal plants and their role in the health field, promote the concept of environmental sustainability within the university campus, contribute to increasing green spaces, and improve the student environment."
