The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah held an extensive welcome and orientation meeting for first-year students of the (2025/2026) academic year, featuring a welcoming address by the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Karam Allah Shakir.

The meeting covered attendance regulations, uniform codes, and student activities presented by Dr. Sanaa Jawad. Additionally, Lecturer Najlaa Al-Saffar highlighted the Psychological Counseling Unit's role in providing academic and moral support to help students overcome challenges.

This meeting is part of the college's annual orientation programs aimed at integrating new students into the university environment, empowering them with the confidence needed to begin their professional journey in pharmacy with academic excellence.
