The College of Pharmacy holds a workshop on student information system management.

Workshop | Student Information System (SIS) Management:

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a training workshop titled (Management of the Student Information System - SIS). The targeted groups were heads of branches, members of the SIS administration committee, the Human Resources (HR) committee, as well as student affairs staff and teaching assistants at the college.

The workshop aimed to introduce the correct usage of the system by the working staff, providing a detailed explanation of the system's contents. It also clarified how to properly handle and bypass potential technical errors that may arise during operation.

The workshop included a lecture delivered by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Karam Allah Shaker. He highlighted that the university student information system serves as a vital strategic tool for system administrators. It grants students accounts to access the application and perform their academic tasks seamlessly, while allowing administrators to easily manage study programs, levels, and controls in an organized and flexible manner.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has formally directed the adoption of this system to achieve comprehensive electronic management of students' personal, school, and academic information, as well as their required study materials, study status, payments, and registration requests.
