Awareness Activities | Voter Registration Card Update Campaign:

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah successfully organized a comprehensive awareness campaign focusing on the vital importance of updating the voter registration card for its staff and students.

The Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Dawood Jaloob Haleel, clearly explained that the primary goal of the campaign is to formally introduce and strongly encourage the updating of the voter card. It aims to actively increase societal awareness that updating the voter registry is a fundamental national duty that progressively contributes to collective decision-making.

Dr. Haleel progressively added: "We strategically initiated the campaign by publishing highly motivational posters to firmly urge the working academic staff and students to update their electoral cards. We sustainably strive to enhance profound awareness of the fundamental objectives of this crucial step in the life of the individual and society, especially given its direct and prominent impact on the country's broader future."

The campaign structurally included appropriately designing and prominently displaying educational posters across the official college platforms and websites. Furthermore, physical posters were firmly installed within the corridors of the college's deanship and its various specialized departments to systematically ensure this pivotal national message robustly reaches the largest possible number of students and staff members.
