Student Festivals | Launch of the (Little Researcher) Festival:

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah proudly organized the activities of the (Little Researcher) festival for the third consecutive year, which was successfully held this year under the inspiring scientific slogan: (By Experimenting We Learn).

The esteemed Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Jubran Khalil Hassan, clarified: "The primary goal of organizing such systematic scientific activities is to educate school students about the vital importance of the college's academic outcomes and to effectively enhance academic and social communication avenues between university educational institutions and various segments of society in general."

Furthermore, the main organizer of the festival, Lecturer Roa Salman Bion, explained that the festival included warmly welcoming students from (Alexandria Private High School). This reception practically aims to interactively introduce them to numerous scientific experiments meticulously prepared by third and fourth-year students at the College of Pharmacy. The overarching educational purpose is to vastly enrich the theoretical aspect of the learning process and firmly reinforce essential scientific concepts in the young minds of the visiting students.

She also added that the practical experiments conducted directly in front of the school students amounted to approximately (35) diverse scientific experiments seamlessly covering the fascinating fields of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. The visiting students were neatly divided into organized groups that smoothly distributed across various college laboratories for a closer, direct look at the scientific experiments specifically prepared for them.
