The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, inaugurated the Virtual Anatomy Table project at the College of Medicine, marking the first technology of its kind among Iraqi universities, operating in ultra-high-definition 4K.
This table is considered an integrated system that simulates the real-world human anatomy, providing an interactive educational environment that enables students to access the finest details of body parts. The hardware platform features high durability against scratches, liquids, and heat, supported by seven-core processors and an advanced display system.
Dr. Muhannad emphasized that this step enhances the efficiency of practical skills for medical students. The internal network system is linked to licensed anatomical software, allowing professors to manage lectures and practical applications with extreme smoothness, placing the University of Basrah at the forefront of digital educational institutions.
