"Sayyid al-Mahwar and the South" Bazaar Hosted to Support Student Projects and Orphans
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah hosted the "Sayyid al-Mahwar and the South" Bazaar, organized by the Nakhwat al-Iraq Team for Development in collaboration with the PMF Media Directorate and university welfare units.
The bazaar manager, Karar Jassim al-Fraidawi, highlighted that the event aimed to support small-scale entrepreneurship and showcase student talents. The bazaar featured book fairs, handmade products, traditional food stalls, and a "Wish Balloons" activity involving pharmacy students.
The two-day event successfully raised funds dedicated entirely to supporting orphans and underprivileged families in Basrah, embodying the university's commitment to social solidarity and humanitarian service.
