The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah is preparing to host the 7th annual "Healing Herb" (Oshbat Tashfa) Festival on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 09:00 AM.
The festival manager and Head of the Pharmacognosy Department, Dr. Ala Muhammad Nour Al-Moussawi, declared that the event will feature exhibitions of medicinal herbs, pharmaceutical showcases, a charity market, student handmade products, and a book fair.
All proceeds from this festival will be donated to the Basrah Nursing Home, continuing the college’s noble tradition of integrating scientific expertise with humanitarian service to support the community.
