Launch of the Electronic Application Form for Central Admission
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the electronic application form for central admission in public universities for both the general and martyrs' families channels for the academic year 2024/2025. The Ministry has set the conditions and controls for central admission, requiring the student to be a graduate of the current year and born in 2000 or later.
Preparatory school graduates from the applied, biological, and scientific branches are required to fill out (50) choices, with the number of institutes not being less than ten. Meanwhile, graduates of the literary branch must fill out no less than (25) choices, with the number of institutes not being less than ten. For graduates of the arts branch, they have been assigned (10) choices, with the number of institutes not being less than two.
The Department of Studies clarifies that applicants from the families of martyrs are required to visit the Martyrs Foundation and its affiliated directorates to authenticate their data. The application period for students who graduated in the first round and those included in the second round to the central admission form via the electronic portal of the Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up will continue until Thursday, September 19, 2024.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research calls on students to carefully audit their choices and consult the Student Guide (click here) to know the details related to the universities, colleges, their departments, and the institutes they will apply to, emphasizing that central admission is done according to the choices confirmed in the application form based on the student's desire and competition in the total score.
We draw the attention of students that the electronic application form for accepting the top graduates of vocational studies for the academic year 2024/2025 will be opened later according to the corresponding and closely related specializations.
