Master's thesis at the University of Basrah discusses the preparation of three new polymers

A master's thesis at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah discussed (synthetic and characterization of polymeric prodrug)
The thesis presented by the student Mohsen Ali Hizam aims to prepare three new polymers and analyse them by chemical and physical methods and the study of thermal stability by calorimeter differential scanning, and thermogravimetric analysis as these three polymers were linked with Fusidic acid for the purpose of preparing esters and measuring biological effectiveness as antibacterial and comparing them with Fusidic acid alone and linking it with zinc oxide to prepare coordination complexes and measure biological effectiveness as antioxidants and compare them with zinc alone.
The thesis indicated that these polymers have antioxidant effectiveness and that they have very high stability and purity, and with regard to biological effectiveness, it was found that all polymers have antibacterial effectiveness after examining them on three types of bacteria, where biological tests gave clear results indicating an increase in effectiveness as antioxidants, and this is evidence that these polymers have antioxidant effectiveness.
