In order to elevate the level of scientific research for Iraqi researchers and maintain the scientific rigor of research through publishing scientific studies in reputable journals approved in global repositories (Clarivate), we attach herewith the list issued by the aforementioned repository specifically concerning the journals dropped from the repository for the year 2023. This is due to the non-compliance of these journals with the repository's standards, including journals affiliated with the publishing house (Hindawi).
We request you take the necessary action and instruct your formations and researchers on the necessity of avoiding publishing in these journals and the journals previously listed in the predatory publication index adopted by our department. Otherwise, research published in them will not be accepted for the purposes of academic promotion, postgraduate student defenses, and performance evaluation.
