The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, participated as the Chairman of the examination committee for a Master's thesis entitled "Effects of Opiorphin and Alpha-II Spectrin Breakdown Product on Insulin Resistance, Lipid Profile, Calcium, Vitamin D, and Magnesium Levels in Preeclampsia", hosted by Hawler Medical University in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The scientific study aimed to establish a precise predictive model for the early detection of Preeclampsia by investigating advanced biomarkers and metabolic changes associated with this critical medical condition.
This participation underlines the commitment to building academic bridges between the University of Basrah and universities in the Kurdistan region, facilitating the exchange of scientific expertise in post-graduate medical research and enhancing the institutional reputation of the college faculty on a national level.
