WHO Awards Certificate of Appreciation to Dean of Pharmacy at University of Basrah

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, has received a high-level Certificate of Appreciation from the World Health Organization (WHO), in recognition of his significant contributions and distinguished cooperation with the organization.

This recognition honors his efforts in the successful organization of a joint workshop for medical group students, focusing on clinical skill development and professional training in managing infectious diseases and epidemics according to international health standards.

The award was presented by Dr. Awatif Al-Uqabi, the representative of the WHO Southern Region Director, who praised the pharmaceutical leadership and academic commitment in enhancing health awareness and training the next generation of medical professionals in Basrah.
