The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, met with the head of the Electron Microscope Unit, lecturer Rafid Abdel-Raouf Dolab, and the unit's administrative staff.
 The meeting discussed several axes, including ways to develop the unit for scientific research that serves the community and the ease of work of graduate students to conduct their research and examine samples. Problems and obstacles were also discussed and solutions developed, including the management of the unit and how to develop work in the unit after the successes achieved by the microscope unit during the previous administration, especially  In crises, including the Corona crisis, and what the unit has accomplished in producing the carrier medium and providing the Ministry of Health with huge numbers of medium, as well as the registration of patents in the United States of America, and the contribution of the unit laboratories to the development of postgraduate studies for the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Basrah and the unit is still working for scientific development and keeping pace with what has arrived  To him the world of research that serves health and society.
 It was also discussed to strengthen the unit with specialized cadres of college professors and specialists to create a tissue culture laboratory, especially after accrediting the unit’s laboratories at the College of Dentistry and joint cooperation with them for the work of postgraduate students.
