Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

In appreciation of the efforts of the Iraqi Ministry of Health staff in all its formations, and as a contribution to solving the Coronavirus outbreak crisis, the University of Basrah took the initiative to deliver 2,000 Viral Transport Media (VTM) and 4,000 medical swabs to the Iraqi Ministry of Health, in order to conduct Coronavirus infection tests.

The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen, stated that this initiative comes as a contribution from the university to solving the crisis of disease spread and the unavailability of transport media in the country, affirming: "We will continue working and supplying health directorates across Iraq until the epidemic is completely over."
