Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

The Crisis Cell at the University of Basrah delivered 100 Viral Transport Media (VTM) for the Coronavirus, produced in the laboratories of the College of Pharmacy, and 200 medical swabs to the Diwaniyah Health Directorate, as part of the university's contribution to solving the problem of the unavailability of the transport medium responsible for detecting Coronavirus infection cases.

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, stated that this work is voluntary to contribute to solving the epidemic outbreak crisis, and for primary prevention measures that detect infected cases to provide ways for their early treatment. He continued: "This batch comes to the Diwaniyah Health Directorate due to the unavailability of this transport medium in all governorates of Iraq."
