The President of University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, visited the College of Pharmacy as part of his vigorous follow-up to the development of the university's faculties and raising the level of the university at all levels.
 Hammadi was briefed on the infrastructure of the College of Pharmacy, including gardens, classrooms, and research laboratories for graduate and undergraduate students, and expressed his observations and directions for the development of the college at all levels.
