A lecturer at University of Basrah has become a member of the British Society of Immunology.

Dr. Iman Tariq Ali Al-Ahmed, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, obtained membership in the British Society for Immunology.

Al-Ahmed explained that this society, founded in 1956, is considered one of the oldest, largest, and most active immunology societies in the world, and the largest in Europe. The members of the society are scientists and specialists in immunology from all over the world. The society is an essential member of global federations, including the European Federation of Immunological Societies, the Royal Society of Biology, the International Union of Immunological Societies, and others.

This membership was granted to the aforementioned faculty member in appreciation of her valuable research in the field of clinical immunology, her scientific standing, and her publication of several scientific papers in reputable international journals.
