The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah held its annual calendar conference for the year 2020/2021. The conference presented all the achievements made during the year and during the Corona pandemic period. The conference aimed to discuss all levels of development in order to evaluate and evaluate them in order to write a new plan that monitors the strengths and weaknesses of the college. The conference also included a discussion of the activities held during the year and a discussion of the important axes that the college accomplished, including the college’s activities before the Corona pandemic in terms of ages and preparing classrooms to accommodate the increasing number of students and student activities in addition to activities during the Corona pandemic, the most important of which is the production of the carrier medium in the laboratories of the College of Pharmacy, which contributed greatly In limiting the spread of the virus, as well as the production of sterilizers and alcohol and their distribution to state institutions, in addition to the awareness and health activities that the teaching and administrative staff have been engaged in during the pandemic. The conference aimed to highlight the most important achievements of the Deanship of the College and called for attention and focus on developing the skills of administrative cadres, continuation in active service activities in the community, and continuous attention to the infrastructure of the College. The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Sheri, stated that holding the conference is a presentation of the college’s scientific activities and achievements, such as patenting and publishing scientific research within international indexes such as Scopus and Clarivate. We will also work to change weaknesses into strengths and increase development in all areas and infrastructures and implement the recommendations of the conference discussed today.
