Basrah - Pharmacy College Media:
A Master's thesis was discussed at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, titled: "Comparison of the Anti-inflammatory Effects of Acetylcysteine and Royal Jelly Against Fluoxetine-Induced Hepatotoxicity."
The study, presented by student Azd Hayyal Nahi, examined Fluoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used for depression. The thesis highlighted that chronic use of Fluoxetine may lead to hepatotoxicity due to oxidative stress and inflammation.
