The Clinical Pharmacy Department at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, organized a specialized scientific seminar titled "The Role of Topical Dapsone Gel in the Treatment of Acne Vulgaris," with the participation of researchers and specialists in the pharmaceutical and clinical fields.

The seminar featured a lecture delivered by Assistant Lecturer Rania Awda Ali, who presented a detailed analysis of the mechanism by which Dapsone Gel treats mild to moderate acne. The presentation covered its efficacy in inhibiting bacterial growth and its role in reducing the secretion of inflammatory mediators, including neutrophils, prostaglandins, and leukotrienes.
