Students from Faculty of Pharmacy publish papers in international journal

The teaching staff were published by Dr. Maan Abdul Razzaq, Dr. Hussein Nasser Khalaf Al-Salman and Dr. Hussein Hassan  Hussein at the Faculty of Pharmacy research entitled "Super Extended Calix[4] pyrroles as Candidate  for Binding Mercury in the Eastern Journal of Chemistry in India with an impact factor (0.6) and classified  Within Scopas. The research included a modification of the derivatives of the casserole by linking an Australian group  Has caused a noticeable change in the tasar characteristics of these compounds and the control of the pyrol derivative with mercury has been studied  Being a toxic element with clear and known toxic effects and the purpose of the research is to focus on the preparation of this derivative  to be a sensor to detect the presence of mercury in any food or chemical sample as well as to remove it from these samples in addition to Moreover, the process of modification is very important because the ester group is easy to convert to other compounds of  The Esther Group is expected to make high electronic contributions to complexity processes as well. As well as to increase solubility For the future in different organic solvents and the applied benefit of this study is the manufacture of membranes capable of filtering Mercury and its removal.
