Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a seminar titled "New Treatment Plans for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis." The lecture was presented by Lecturer Rasha Nuseir Mohammed.

The seminar explained plans to treat pulmonary fibrosis, which is characterized by a decline in lung function, through the use of anti-fibrotic treatments such as Nintedanib and Pirfenidone. There are also other treatments currently under research for this disease.

The seminar indicated that the goal of these plans is to reduce the severity of the disease and the mortality rate by decreasing the accumulation of fibrotic tissue around the lungs and improving their functions, thereby increasing survival rates.
