The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah discussed the Master's thesis presented by the researcher Rusul Hannon Hassan, titled: "Study of the Relationship between Insulin Resistance, Oxidative Stress, and Inflammation with Hypertension compared to Healthy Individuals."

The thesis explored the role of insulin resistance and oxidative stress in blood pressure dysregulation and vascular damage. Results showed a significant increase in biomarkers for these factors in hypertensive patients compared to healthy controls.

This study emphasizes the importance of early detection and management of these factors to reduce cardiovascular risks, opening new horizons for developing preventive protocols that enhance public health and support the integration of pharmaceutical and applied medical sciences.
