A teaching member staff at the College of Pharmacy participates in a workshop on the skills of using Internet applications in scientific research

Assistant Professor Dr. Layla Jasim participated in the workshop held by the IFAD platform for academics and researchers, with the participation of researchers and specialists.

The workshop included a lecture by Dr. Mohamed Thamer Khattab from Ain Shams University in Egypt.

Showed through which the skills that the scientific researcher must have to obtain the information the researcher desires, and how the researcher makes use of various social networking sites, e-mails, scientific research browsers, forums, and applications to obtain information, and that the researcher does not resort to websites Google and Yahoo just to get information, because these sites are often not reliable and do not give accurate and complete information. The lecture recommended the need to use specialized and academic sites such as Google scholar, ERIC and others.
