A teaching member staff at the College of Pharmacy participates in a workshop on leukocytes in the human body

Assistant lecturer Shaima Nadim, at the College of Pharmacy, participated in a workshop organized by the College of Science on human leukocyte antigens (HLA allels) and their role in regulating the immune system. The workshop included a lecture to explain the next step to learn HLA sequences using Codon Express Software, and clarifying how to read and do (typing manually) to reach the final result and know the name of the alleles.

The workshop also showed the definition of human leukocyte antigens and clarification of the steps used to know their mechanisms through genetic analysis of the sequences.
