Shaima Nadim, Assistant Lecturer at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah participated in the workshop held by the University of Al-Qadisiyah on the role of a positive psychological state in treating the new coronavirus “Covid-19” with the participation of researchers and specialists.

The workshop included several lectures that showed communication and the relationship between the immune system and the nervous system, which includes several different ways to regulate the body’s work. So there is a sure relationship between the activity and health of the immune system and the psychological state and mood of the person. Stress and anxiety are two main factors in weak immunity in humans, which makes his body more susceptible to diseases, in contrast to the positive psychological state and the need to stay away from rumors in order to resist the virus.
