The College of Pharmacy hosts a workshop on plant tissue culture in Iraq

 The College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Palm Research Center at the University of Basrah, hosted a workshop on the reality of plant tissue culture in Iraq

 In the presence of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Falah Hassan Shari, and the research team at the University of Basrah.

 The workshop was moderated by Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari and Dr. Raghdan Hashem.

 The workshop included several axes, including finding solutions and problems facing plant tissue agriculture in the University’s Palm Research Center and a proposal to change the name of the Palm Research Center to the Plant tissue Cultivation Center in addition to treating bacterial and fungal contamination and knowing the causes of pollution as well as activating the biotechnology laboratory in the center and holding courses for workers

 For his part, the President of the University valued the efforts of the research team and urged them to continue in the field of scientific research and find solutions and alternatives for everything that serves the community because the fruit of scientific research is to continue its application on the ground.
