Professor Falah Hassan Shari, a professor at the College of Pharmacy/the University of Basrah, participated in the interactive workshop held by the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait, under the title (Sustainable Development in the Light of the Covid-19 Pandemic), with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The workshop included lectures that dealt with several axes, including discussing the ability of countries to increase various resources; of human, economic, natural and social resources, and their consolidation; With the aim of achieving higher production results to meet the basic needs of the majority of its citizens, and enabling them to present their demands and rights to governments. As well as how to apply the concept of development at the populist and societal level, and even at the level of individuals in the sense of developing the individual himself, developing his cognitive, cultural, and productivity capabilities, and enriching them in proportion to the requirements of modern civil life. The workshop also discussed the challenges faced by the countries of the region during the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, how the epidemic affected the global economy in a large way, and how those countries faced the decline in economic development through appropriate strategic plans with possible standards for each country.
