A delegation from Shahid Chamran University in the Republic of Iran visited the College of Pharmacy at the university of Basrah. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, Dean of the College of Pharmacy.

 And Shari said: The purpose of the visit is to sign a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation between the universities of Basrah and the University of Shahid Chamran, which includes several items, including the promotion and improvement of the outputs of the two universities, the evaluation of academic programs, the exchange of research teams in the specialties of the medical group, and the exchange of experiences in the field of e-learning, academic courses and their programming, publications and research  and scientific projects.

 For his part, the visiting delegation expressed his happiness at signing this memorandum, wishing the two universities the continuation of joint cooperation, its development and growth. He also invited the President of The University of Basrah and the deans of the medical group to visit Chamran University and Abadan Teaching Hospital.
