The Assistant Lecturer Najla Al-Saffar, participated in a workshop in Sulaymaniyah in order to build the capacities of women in the field of leadership, media and effective communication, which was organized by the Iraqi Al-Firdaws Association. She mentioned that the workshop included many lectures , awareness and intellectual workshops that contribute to strengthening the leadership of Women inside the various institutions and enhancing their societal and political participation. A group of visual women elites in various scientific and practical disciplines participated in the workshop. Al-Saffar added: The workshop recommended strengthening the level of civil society institutions so that civil society organizations that defend women's rights take into account this issue in their composition and method of work and prepare a generation of women who are able to attend and influence so that they can achieve many achievements as well as communicate with local and external experiences in addition to emphasizing  the importance of the role of women in peacemaking, reconciliation and negotiation .
