A member of faculty staff at the College of Pharmacy participates in a training course on e-learning.

Professor Falah Hassan Shari, a lecturer at the College of Pharmacy, participated in the training course held by the College of Science at The University of Mosul under the slogan (E-learning and its role in the advancement of society) with the participation of professors and researchers. The three-day course included lectures by specialists in e-learning and its importance to society, as e-learning is considered a form of distance education, and its goals are the introduction of information technology as a means to enhance the student’s ability to learn to the maximum limits of his abilities and provide educational services for those who missed educational opportunities as well as spreading technical culture. It helps to create an electronic society that is able to keep pace with the developments of the times in addition to contributing to literacy, adult education and the development of students' skills. This type of education provides students with much information and knowledge compared to traditional teaching methods, as this type of e-learning provides multiple and disparate sources of information as well. In addition to the possibility of exchanging educational experiences, in addition to all of the above, this type of education largely takes into account the educational conditions of the learners.
