Researchers at the College of Pharmacy publish research in an international journal.

Lecturers, Dr. Azza Sajid Jabbar, Dr. Nazira Faleh Nehme, and Dr. Ahmed Hamish Nehme at the College of Pharmacy have published a paper entitled (Comparative effects of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor blockers on pulmonary function in hypertensive patients) in the Journal of Basic and Clinical Physiology and Pharmacology German, that has an impact factor of 1.9 in the Scopus classification. The aim of the research is to study the effect of high blood pressure drugs that work by inhibiting receptors for angiotensin enzymes and drugs that block receptors for angiotensin II on lung function, as the results showed no effect on lung function in patients whose regular period of taking these drugs exceeded one year
