The University of Basrah discussed scientific cooperation with the Dean University in Holy Karbala, during a visit of a delegation headed by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and accompanied by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Falah Hasan Shri and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ramzi Salem and Assistant Dean of the College of Administration and Economics Assistant Professor Dr. Naeem Sabah and Head of the Drug and Toxicology Branch at the College of Pharmacy Assistant Professor Dr. Mohsin Sagheer Ghaleb and Assistant Professor Dr. Qutayba Jasim Ghani from the College of Agriculture and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nasser in charge of the House of Experience at University of Basrah  A scientific memorandum of understanding was signed between the two institutions, where the President of University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, stated that the memorandum included scientific cooperation and the activation of joint research, scientific and academic aspects between the two sides, including publishing scientific research, supervising students and supporting scientific journals by publishing solid scientific research and mutual visits between the two sides. Dr.Hammadi added that this agreement is part of the university’s role in supporting the scientific movement in Iraq in a way that serves society and the scientific movement at all levels, as this agreement will represent openness and mutual partnership between public and private universities to consolidate the topics of scientific research and academic study.
