Coinciding with the advent of the holy month, the blessed month of Ramadan, and within the volunteer initiatives in community service, the College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the College of Information Technology at University of Basrah, organized a campaign to distribute the Ramadan basket to the needy families and the families of the martyrs. The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shri, stated that the baskets were voluntarily prepared by the faculty members and professors and included all the food items needed by the fasting person throughout the days of the holy month Sherry added that the college had distributed the first meal of food baskets to 150 families.
