A delegation from University of Basrah headed by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of Sumer University, Dr. Adel Radi Jaber, the Administrative Assistant of Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Dr. Naim Sabah Jarrah, and the Head  of Pharmacology and Toxicology Department at the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Mohsin Sagheer Ghaleb, visited (Alatabaa Alalawya ).The visited delegation was welcomed by the trustworthy of Aatabaa Alawya ,the engineer Youssef Sheikh Radi. Dr. Saad Shaheen stated that the meeting included a review of the activities of University of Basrah the most prominent of which was the production of the transmission medium for the Corona virus and the respirator that was made in the College of Engineering . Dr.Hammadi added: Several axes were also discussed, including the possibility of partnering with the upper threshold in several investment projects, including a pharmaceutical factory ,nutrient factory and an investment in a water bottling  factory in addition to discussing the project of granules through plastic recycling and recycling process at the University of Basrah As well as the possibility of investing in agriculture through the tissue palms was discussed. The meeting also discussed on electronic programs, in addition to discussing investment in the Al-Hartha agricultural factory for the production of dairy products and increasing the calves raising .For his part, the  trustworthy of Al-Ataba expressed his welcome to the visiting delegation and praised the efforts made by University of Basrah when he commented: We know that University of Basrah is an ancient university and has large and wide participation  and role in the supporting the community and the medical staff socially and medically, by supplementing  the institutions with the necessary sterilizers and the transmission media to face Corona virus pandemic.
