College of Pharmacy at University of Basrah held a seminar entitled (The importance of experimental studies in reproductive research, especially in females) in the presence of researchers and specialists. The seminar included a lecture given by Dr. Nadira Faleh, an introduction to the importance of experimental studies, especially in reproduction and the presence of different stages in which different body systems such as the nervous system, endocrine and reproductive organs, as well as the stages of fetal formation and postpartum, therefore the study of the effect of drugs on reproduction must include all stages Including hormones, antioxidants and the process of implantation in the female uterus and their impact and impact on fetal malformations. The lecture also included an experiment of the researcher on female rats and how the results changed when they were in the first half of pregnancy, where they were healthy, but the continued administration of the drug continuously before pregnancy and during the first half of pregnancy was observed a decrease in the pregnancy rate in a way that reached zero
The benefit of this study was to direct that reproductive research should be carried out and include all important stages in embryo development and post-feeding.
