A master's student in the College of Pharmacy becomes a member in the British Society of Immunology

Master student Ihab Hamid Abdul Majeed, under the supervision of Dr. Falah Hassan Sheri and Dr. Abdulellah Abdul Hussein Sahin in the College of Pharmacy, obtained the British Membership Association for Immunology for his participation with the research entitled (production, purifaication and characterization of interferon alpha 2b) in the first scientific conference for postgraduate students in a group of colleges Medical Sciences for the period from February 16-18, 2021 under the auspices of the Presidency of University of Basrah, and in cooperation with King's College London University.The research studied and discussed the interferon alpha2b, which is considered a type of medicine called immunotherapy and acts as an anti-tumor and anti-viral as it is used to treat cancer, viral hepatitis and immune diseases
