The College of Pharmacy participates in the first evaluation conference about E-learning

 

A lecturer from College of pharmacy Dr. Qutaiba Abdul Karim Qasim participated in the first evaluation conference held by University of Basrah  with the participation of researchers and specialists.
Dr. Qutaiba explained and presented the weaknesses and problems in E-learning and ways to diagnose and treat them. It also included several other axes, including a questionnaire for students and teachers regarding previous E -learning experience, where a set of questions were answered, including their opinion of the previous E-learning experience and the weaknesses they suffered from. . In addition to the ways to address all the weaknesses that were diagnosed by the teachers and students, and the most important problem in electronic education was the weakness of the Internet supplement and it is within the responsibility of the Ministry of Communications. The other weakness is the lack of students' attendance to the laboratories and it will be addressed next year through blended education through The students' attendance to laboratories only, as for the theoretical side, will remain electronic, as well as the student’s lack of communication with the professor and the lack of interaction in the lectures. This problem will be addressed through direct interactive lectures in the next academic year through the application of zoom. The official Moodle educational platform of the university will also be approved.
