The College of Pharmacy organizes a visit to the Institute for the Blind in Basra

Community Service | A Field Visit to Al-Noor Institute for the Blind:

The Student Activities Unit at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, organized a humanitarian field visit to the (Al-Noor Institute for the Blind) as an essential part of the notable series of community initiatives officially adopted by the college.

The Head of the Student Activities Unit, Prof. Dr. Sanaa Jawad Al-Mayyah, stated: "We organized this significant visit as part of the College of Pharmacy's continuous initiatives aimed strictly at serving the community and actively supporting special groups. Furthermore, as part of our unit's activity, we launched a humanitarian campaign to carefully collect donations, driven by the highly generous contribution of the college's professors and dedicated students."

Prof. Dr. Al-Mayyah added: "The proceeds of these donations resulted in the purchase of two computing devices (2 laptops) to meet the actual needs of the institute and robustly support its educational journey. The compassionate visit and the delivery of the devices took place in a remarkably joyous atmosphere. The delegation was accompanied by representing professors from the College of Pharmacy and a select group of its students, beautifully reflecting the unwavering spirit of humanitarian and academic cooperation."
