Student Activities | Celebration of the Birth of Imam Al-Mahdi:

The Student Activities Unit at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, organized a joyful celebration deeply commemorating the auspicious birth of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), in organized cooperation with the "Abaq" university team.

The Head of the Student Activities Unit, Dr. Sanaa Jawad Al-Mayyah, thoroughly explained that the celebration lasted for two consecutive days. The first day was exclusively dedicated to female students, while the second day was openly dedicated to all the college staff and students from various academic stages.

The blessed celebration included various meaningful interactive segments, beginning with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. This was followed by an informative visual presentation on the main hall's screen beautifully showcasing the biography of Imam Al-Mahdi. The ceremony also featured religious chants, an insightful lecture, and an interactive competition offering varied questions and valuable prizes for the winners.

The spiritual activities concluded with the recitation of the visitation of Lady Zahra (peace be upon her), alongside a purposeful theatrical play gracefully performed by a talented group of pharmacy students. At the conclusion of the event, stunning roses and delicious sweets were joyfully distributed to all the attendees and throughout the college corridors to actively spread an atmosphere of immense joy and happiness.
