The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah , Assistant Professor Dr. Jibran Khalil Hassan, participated in the meeting of the Deans Committee of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad.

The meeting discussed several topics, including the analysis of the results of the evaluation exam for the current academic year and the importance of following up on these results by the colleges in order to improve the reality of the educational process in the colleges of pharmacy and strive to improve the quality of their outputs and identify the strengths and weaknesses and honor the top students in each college to encourage excellence.

The attendees also discussed the importance of reviewing and updating the curricula and discussing the ratio of faculty to student in the colleges of pharmacy and its importance to the educational process and some administrative procedures.

In addition to discussing mechanisms to support the government's trend in localizing the pharmaceutical industry.

The meeting concluded with recommendations aimed at enhancing institutional and scientific integration between all Iraqi colleges of pharmacy, which will benefit the consolidation of pharmaceutical education and the graduation of pharmacists with a high level of information, skills and behavior to serve the Iraqi health reality.
