The Dean of the College of Pharmacy Participates in the Meeting of the Deans' Committee of Pharmacy Colleges in Iraq
The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Assistant Professor Dr. Jubran Khalil Hassan, participated in the meeting of the Deans' Committee of Pharmacy Colleges at the University of Baghdad.
The meeting discussed several key areas, including analyzing the results of the assessment examination for the current academic year and the importance of monitoring these results by the colleges in order to elevate the educational process reality in pharmacy colleges, striving to improve the quality of their outcomes, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and honoring the top students in each college to encourage excellence.
The attendees also discussed the importance of reviewing and updating curricula, and debating the teacher-to-student ratio in pharmacy colleges and its significance for the educational process and certain administrative procedures. In addition to discussing mechanisms to support the government's direction in localizing the pharmaceutical industry.
The meeting concluded with recommendations aimed at enhancing institutional and scientific integration among all Iraqi pharmacy colleges, which will benefit the consolidation of pharmaceutical education and graduate pharmacists with a high level of knowledge, skills, and professional behavior to serve the Iraqi health reality.
