Delegation from Prime Minister's Office and Basra Governorate Visits Stalled Projects

 

A high-level delegation representing the Prime Minister's Office and the Basra Governorate Council, accompanied by the University of Basrah Administrative Assistant Dr. Haider Khazaal Muhbas, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy Dr. Jubran Khalil Hassan, and the Administrative Assistant Dr. Dawoud Jalloub Heleel, visited academic buildings where work has been stalled since 2012.

The visit aimed to directly investigate the reasons behind the infrastructure halt and to complete the requirements for assigning the projects to a new contractor. The goal is to finish these buildings to accommodate the increasing number of students and provide a suitable educational and logistical environment for the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah.

The delegation toured the delayed infrastructure sites, emphasizing the importance of addressing this file in the coming phase and resolving obstacles to prevent any further delays. They stressed that completing these facilities is a fundamental pillar for the success of the educational process in Basra Governorate.
